當今，全球化背景下，國際政治經濟成為了一個充滿活力且發(fā)展迅速的領域，它關注政治與經濟、國家與全球之間的聯系，并批判性地研究貧困、不平等、性別關系、經濟危機和環(huán)境等嚴峻的全球問題，其結果卓有成效。曼徹斯特大學國際政治經濟文學碩士項目致力于為學生提供前沿的理論成果和實踐技能訓練，以培養(yǎng)出色的行業(yè)人才。另外，曼徹斯特大學國際政治經濟文學碩士項目的課程計劃如下：首先，學生需必修兩個模塊的課程，以充分掌握國際政治經濟學專業(yè)知識，豐富自身的理論儲備；其次，學生需選修一系列課程，進行專業(yè)化研究，涉及全球治理、發(fā)展與不平等、性別、環(huán)境政治學、全球生產與工作、金融（或金融化）、資本主義多樣性、意識形態(tài)（包括新自由主義）以及經濟危機等相關內容，以拓展自己的專業(yè)視野。
