The Carlson School Master of Accountancy (MAcc) program prepares students to be successful accounting, tax, or finance professionals in a dynamic, global business environment. The MAcc program provides an option for students to meet the required 150 semester hours of education to be CPA certified in the State of Minnesota and to deliver a multi-discipline management program in accounting. It also provides finance majors and international students the necessary courses to sit for the CPA examination in Minnesota.
The MAcc enables each student to acquire the comprehensive accounting, finance, taxation, and business skills he or she needs by providing 60 percent of its courses as electives.
