IELTS
All applicants from non-English speaking countries must take the IELTS exam;An official copy of IELTS scores must be uploaded to the application.Minimum required IELTS score: 7. IELTS can be waived by the department under certain circumstances (1) if you have received instruction in English in primary and secondary school or (2) if you have been working in the US for two years and/or will have received a degree from an American institution before entering MIT.If you want to apply for an IELTS waiver (and meet the requirements listed above), please fill out the waiver request form. Your request will be answered within 10 days. This request is for the Program in Media Arts and Sciences only. The deadline is December 1 2017.
