Whether your interest is in industry, academia, or something in between, we offer graduate and post-graduate degrees designed to meet your goals. Our faculty and graduate students conduct important research on interdisciplinary topics ranging from developing biomaterials for tissue engineering, ceramics for energy applications and composites and metals for aerospace to genetically engineering molecules and semiconductors for electronics.
This professional degree program is designed for students seeking to earn their Master of Science (MS) in Materials Science and Engineering to further their career goals or to meet work requirements. This is a fast track program that is designed to be completed in one year. Instead of a thesis requirement, a final written and oral final report is required. This program is self-sustaining / not supported by state funds and does not offer assistantships and stipends.
