</span> </span> <span class="card-operate active"> <span class="edit"> &nbsp; </span> <span class="content"> &nbsp; </span> </span> </span></div> <p>&nbsp;</p> <h1><span style="color: #ffffff;"><strong>1、</strong><strong>拒絕&ldquo;一考定終身&rdquo;</strong></span></h1> <p><span style="color: #262626;">&nbsp;</span></p> <p><span style="color: #262626;">本科時(shí)由于轉(zhuǎn)專業(yè)的緣故，對(duì)新專業(yè)的學(xué)習(xí)不太適應(yīng)，且保研競(jìng)爭(zhēng)非常激烈；可能因?yàn)樽约菏菑目荚嚧笫〕砷L(zhǎng)的，對(duì)于考研這種&ldquo;一考定終身&rdquo;的選拔方式有天然的恐懼和抵觸心理，于是萌生了出國(guó)留學(xué)的想法。</span></p> <p><span style="color: #ffffff;">&nbsp;</span></p> <h1><span style="color: #ffffff;"><strong>2、</strong><strong>從純美到加申新加坡</strong></span></h1> <p><span style="color: #262626;">&nbsp;</span></p> <p><span style="color: #262626;">一開始是只考慮申請(qǐng)美國(guó)。初步?jīng)Q定留學(xué)時(shí)是22年，那時(shí)還有疫情，中美兩國(guó)之間也存在一些沖突等，中國(guó)整體赴美留學(xué)人數(shù)是呈下降的趨勢(shì)。但是高啟強(qiáng)說(shuō)過(guò)（雖然那時(shí)候還沒有高啟強(qiáng)）&ldquo;風(fēng)浪越大，魚越貴&rdquo;。<strong>較高的外部留學(xué)難度導(dǎo)致大學(xué)錄取難度的降低，相同背景情況下可以可以拿到更好的offer，且教育是終身受益，兩年的困苦可以帶來(lái)終身的提升</strong>，所以我選擇美國(guó)作為自己留學(xué)的首選國(guó)家。</span></p> <p><span style="color: #262626;">&nbsp;</span></p> <p><span style="color: #262626;">關(guān)于美國(guó)的具體選校，我的整體策略是比較激進(jìn)的。美國(guó)留學(xué)不管是時(shí)間上還是金錢上，基本上都是新加坡留學(xué)的兩倍，我認(rèn)為如果不能拿到較好的錄取結(jié)果，完全沒有必要花那么大的代價(jià)來(lái)美國(guó)。所以我在選校時(shí)直接排除了保底檔次，共有六個(gè)主申兩個(gè)沖刺，六個(gè)主申都已拿到offer，沖刺的話兩個(gè)拒從現(xiàn)在的視角來(lái)看，感覺當(dāng)時(shí)應(yīng)該多加申三到四個(gè)項(xiàng)目，銜接好主申和沖刺之間的層次。</span></p> <p><span style="color: #262626;">&nbsp;</span></p> <p><span style="color: #262626;">但是在22年年底，國(guó)內(nèi)疫情放開，赴美留學(xué)人數(shù)回升，錄取難度的外部?jī)?yōu)勢(shì)消失。我了解到，22年本校本科畢業(yè)正在NUS讀研的學(xué)長(zhǎng)學(xué)姐們，在22年秋招時(shí)拿到的比亞迪的offer薪資是按C9F碩給的，年包有30+，改變了我之前認(rèn)為一年碩在找工作方面的劣勢(shì)。<strong>在23年8月的時(shí)候，我參加了NUS的暑校，兩周的時(shí)間讓我對(duì)NUS及NTU產(chǎn)生了較為深刻的印象</strong>，且新加坡的生活環(huán)境也深深吸引著我，于是在8月底決定加申NUS和NTU。</span></p> <p><span style="color: #262626;">&nbsp;</span></p> <p><span style="color: #262626;"><img style="display: block; margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto;" src="https://info.compassedu.hk/info_imgUrl_phpFRYDdb.jpg" alt="" width="466" height="349" /></span></p> <p><span style="color: #262626;">&nbsp;</span></p> <h2><span style="color: #1890ff;"><strong>美國(guó) vs 新加坡</strong></span></h2> <p><span style="color: #262626;">&nbsp;</span></p> <p><span style="color: #262626;"><strong>我感覺新加坡的申請(qǐng)量很大，錄取感覺比較偏流水線作業(yè)，更側(cè)重均分</strong>。隨著國(guó)內(nèi)考研和工作難度的增加，一大批原來(lái)考研或工作的同學(xué)也開始考慮留學(xué)，而新加坡和香港因?yàn)楠?dú)特的地理和文化環(huán)境自然而然地成為了這些同學(xué)的首選，導(dǎo)致競(jìng)爭(zhēng)難度直線上升。且我所在的專業(yè)（自動(dòng)化，留學(xué)時(shí)申ME或EE）由于311項(xiàng)目的存在，NUS這些專業(yè)的名額更少了，錄取難度也有所增加。</span></p> <p><span style="color: #262626;">&nbsp;</span></p> <p><span style="color: #262626;">美國(guó)的話由于整體留學(xué)生相對(duì)少且學(xué)校更多，錄取時(shí)有更多的時(shí)間和精力來(lái)仔細(xì)考慮學(xué)生除均分外的因素，如競(jìng)賽、科研、實(shí)習(xí)等，<strong>對(duì)于均分偏低但簡(jiǎn)歷更豐滿的同學(xué)來(lái)說(shuō)相對(duì)友好</strong>。錄取難度上來(lái)說(shuō)自然而然是穩(wěn)中向難。</span></p> <p><span style="color: #262626;">&nbsp;</span></p> <p><span style="color: #262626;">從申請(qǐng)時(shí)間上來(lái)說(shuō)，新加坡還是需要盡早申請(qǐng)，<strong>畢竟新加坡有著兩萬(wàn)人民幣起步的留位費(fèi)，隔壁香港在十幾萬(wàn)留位費(fèi)的加持下，提交晚了錄取難度就暴漲</strong>。NUS基本上一個(gè)月就會(huì)放一批offer，而NTU貌似到三月才開始放榜。</span></p> <p><span style="color: #262626;">&nbsp;</span></p> <p><span style="color: #262626;">美國(guó)的話基本上12月開始第一批，甚至1月申請(qǐng)也不算太晚，申請(qǐng)時(shí)間上來(lái)講相對(duì)寬裕，當(dāng)然還是能早申盡量早申，offer從12月陸續(xù)發(fā)到4月,甚至聽說(shuō)過(guò)有些學(xué)校6月還在撈魚。</span></p> <p><span style="color: #ffffff;">&nbsp;</span></p> <h1><span style="color: #ffffff;"><strong>3、</strong><strong>GPA3.0：地獄開局？</strong></span></h1> <p><span style="color: #262626;">&nbsp;</span></p> <p><span style="color: #262626;"><strong>對(duì)于新加坡來(lái)說(shuō)，感覺是一個(gè)比較災(zāi)難的影響</strong>。特別是在我們學(xué)校的績(jī)點(diǎn)制度的debuff下，相同均分時(shí)我的績(jī)點(diǎn)能比別的同學(xué)低不少，感覺影響不少。</span></p> <p><span style="color: #262626;">&nbsp;</span></p> <p><span style="color: #262626;">對(duì)于美國(guó)來(lái)說(shuō)，相對(duì)沒有那么地獄的影響。在我的主申學(xué)校中，可能是考慮到我相對(duì)綜合的背景，沒有因?yàn)榭?jī)點(diǎn)較低而一票否決，反而六所主申院校都給發(fā)了offer。</span></p> <p><span style="color: #ffffff;">&nbsp;</span></p> <h1><span style="color: #ffffff;"><strong>4、</strong><strong>有驚無(wú)險(xiǎn)的托福、GRE</strong></span></h1> <p><span style="color: #262626;">&nbsp;</span></p> <p><span style="color: #262626;">關(guān)于托福的話，我的起步相對(duì)較晚。22年疫情時(shí)封寢+封校，再結(jié)合我拖沓的性格，在23年年初才開始正式地備考。托?？荚嚭统醺咧幸约八牧?jí)考試是截然不同的考試模式，所以我在備考初期就報(bào)名了托福網(wǎng)課，我認(rèn)為這樣可以以最短的時(shí)間來(lái)熟悉托福的考試模式，了解考試技巧與側(cè)重點(diǎn)，當(dāng)然最準(zhǔn)確與印象深刻的學(xué)習(xí)方法就是去實(shí)際考試一次。我一共考了三次托福，分別在2月、3月和5月，分?jǐn)?shù)也是逐步穩(wěn)定提高。</span></p> <p><span style="color: #262626;">&nbsp;</span></p> <p><span style="color: #262626;"><img style="display: block; margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto;" src="https://info.compassedu.hk/info_imgUrl_phplJREqC.jpg" alt="" width="591" height="442" /></span></p> <p><span style="color: #262626;">&nbsp;</span></p> <p><span style="color: #262626;">在上托福網(wǎng)課期間，教授我聽力部分的張儀老師說(shuō)，托福是一個(gè)過(guò)關(guān)性考試，<strong>只要你的分?jǐn)?shù)能通過(guò)學(xué)校的要求（有的項(xiàng)目會(huì)有暗線），提升托福分?jǐn)?shù)對(duì)錄取來(lái)說(shuō)就沒有顯著的優(yōu)勢(shì)了</strong>。在申請(qǐng)中，特別是對(duì)于工科專業(yè)，并沒有感到對(duì)托福有特別高的要求及限制，能略高于學(xué)校和項(xiàng)目的要求即可。</span></p> <p><span style="color: #262626;">&nbsp;</span></p> <p><span style="color: #262626;">眾所周知GRE對(duì)詞匯的要求很高，而詞匯一直是我的短板...因而我對(duì)備考GRE一直很抗拒，能拖就拖。大概拖到11月多吧，真的拖不了了，開始備考，發(fā)現(xiàn)時(shí)間來(lái)不及了，一個(gè)月的時(shí)間零基礎(chǔ)考到320怎么想也不可能，就直接放棄備考了。也因?yàn)闆]有GRE成績(jī)，在申請(qǐng)上也是放棄了兩張大彩票，不過(guò)說(shuō)實(shí)話，低績(jī)點(diǎn)申大彩票也基本沒有可能...就當(dāng)省了申請(qǐng)費(fèi)加餐了。</span></p> <p><span style="color: #262626;">&nbsp;</span></p> <p><span style="color: #262626;"><strong>PS：實(shí)習(xí)</strong></span></p> <p><span style="color: #262626;">&nbsp;</span></p> <p><span style="color: #262626;">我們大二下學(xué)期和大三上學(xué)期都因?yàn)橐咔樘崆胺偶伲?2年），于是我有充足的時(shí)間來(lái)實(shí)習(xí)。實(shí)習(xí)公司我選擇了在我家鄉(xiāng)當(dāng)?shù)氐膬伤娮涌萍脊?，和我申?qǐng)的專業(yè)十分地匹配，也在實(shí)習(xí)期間分別參與了一到兩個(gè)研發(fā)項(xiàng)目，積攢了一些項(xiàng)目經(jīng)驗(yàn)，豐富了我的文書內(nèi)容，我認(rèn)為對(duì)我的申請(qǐng)也有不小的助力。</span></p> <p><span style="color: #262626;">&nbsp;</span></p> <p><span style="color: #262626;">我在校期間主持了一項(xiàng)大創(chuàng)，也在大創(chuàng)期間和同學(xué)們一起發(fā)表了一項(xiàng)專利，在一定程度上豐富了我的學(xué)科經(jīng)歷，使我的學(xué)科經(jīng)歷更加豐富。</span></p> <p><span style="color: #ffffff;">&nbsp;</span></p> <h1><span style="color: #ffffff;"><strong>5、</strong><strong>相當(dāng)滿意的錄取結(jié)果</strong></span></h1> <p><span style="color: #262626;">&nbsp;</span></p> <p><span style="color: #262626;">按照offer發(fā)放的時(shí)間，分別拿到了紐約大學(xué)，圣路易斯華盛頓大學(xué)，俄亥俄州立大學(xué)，加州大學(xué)戴維斯分校，佛羅里達(dá)州立大學(xué)，加州大學(xué)爾灣分校，南洋理工大學(xué)這七所大學(xué)的offer。</span></p> <p><span style="color: #262626;">&nbsp;</span></p> <p><span style="color: #262626;">紐約大學(xué)的offer是發(fā)的最早的，我12.4才提交了所有資料，12.23紐大就發(fā)來(lái)了offer。當(dāng)時(shí)我還不知道offer長(zhǎng)什么樣，只是先收到一封郵件，說(shuō)申請(qǐng)狀態(tài)有更新，打開郵件發(fā)現(xiàn)第一句是&lsquo;Congratulations!&rsquo;,我才感覺，哦，可能是錄取我了。</span></p> <p><span style="color: #262626;">&nbsp;</span></p> <p><span style="color: #262626;"><img style="display: block; margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto;" src="https://info.compassedu.hk/info_imgUrl_php0ehmUP.jpg" alt="" width="498" height="487" /></span></p> <p><span style="color: #262626;">&nbsp;</span></p> <p><span style="color: #262626;">對(duì)于申請(qǐng)結(jié)果當(dāng)然是很滿意了，美國(guó)主申部分都拿到了錄取，已經(jīng)遠(yuǎn)超剛開始申請(qǐng)時(shí)的預(yù)期了。</span></p> <p><span style="color: #262626;">&nbsp;</span></p> <p><span style="color: #262626;">我最終會(huì)選擇加州大學(xué)爾灣分校。紐約大學(xué)和圣路易斯華盛頓大學(xué)的花費(fèi)很高，且后者的專業(yè)實(shí)力很一般；佛州出臺(tái)了一些法律對(duì)中國(guó)留學(xué)生很不友好，自然也被排除；俄亥俄州立的話專業(yè)實(shí)力不錯(cuò)，但是綜排較低，且地理位置也有些偏；經(jīng)過(guò)考慮也是決定不去新加坡了，南洋理工大學(xué)自然也被排除了，所以主要是考慮加州大學(xué)戴維斯分校和爾灣分校。</span></p> <p><span style="color: #262626;">&nbsp;</span></p> <p><span style="color: #262626;">這兩所學(xué)校我其實(shí)一直很糾結(jié)，直到現(xiàn)在也是。這兩所不管是綜排還是專排都很相近，但是戴維斯今年成了T30（28），而爾灣是33；實(shí)習(xí)環(huán)境的話戴維斯離硅谷近，爾灣周邊也有高科技企業(yè)。<strong>可能唯一能說(shuō)服我的就是校園環(huán)境了，在東北呆了四年，還是很吃爾灣陽(yáng)光大海和沙灘那一套的。</strong></span></p> <p><span style="color: #262626;">&nbsp;</span></p> <p><span style="color: #262626;"><img style="display: block;
