TOEFL
International students are expected to achieve a minimum score of 550 on the paper-based or 80 on the iBT Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL), or an overall BAND score of 7 or more (on a 9-point scale) on the IELTS exam. TOEFL and IELTS scores expire after two years.

GRE
Doctoral applicants normally will have earned a minimum grade point average of 3.5 and must also submit GRE scores and three letters of recommendation. Applicants who already have a transportation-related MS degree are admitted to pursue a PhD degree. Applicants in this category are strongly encouraged to contact prospective research advisers. The department has a policy of admitting only those PhD applicants for whom a member of the faculty has agreed to serve as research adviser.

GPA
Applicants must have a baccalaureate degree from an accredited institution with at least a 3.0 grade-point average (GPA) on graduation.
CV
CV and/or résumé listing your experience and background in public health.
Fee
A graduate application fee of $105 (U.S. applicants) or $125 (international applicants) is required from all applicants. Applicants who choose to apply to more than one graduate program must pay an application fee for each program. The application fee is not refundable. Instructions for payment will appear when you submit your online application.
RL
Three academic or professional recommendations (in English) are required. Letters of recommendation are submitted electronically through the online application. Letter service letters are not accepted. There are no exceptions to the online submission rule.
Transcript
An official transcript is required from each college-level institution you attended including summer sessions, lower division, and graduate work. You will be instructed to upload scanned copies of your transcripts after you have submitted your online application.
