TOEFL
International Applicants must submit TOEFL Scores. The minimum requirements for admission are a total score of 80 in the internet-based test. Typically successful applicants score significantly higher than the minimum. Applicants must score at least 22 on the speaking section to be considered for Teaching Assistant positions. A speaking score of 26 is preferred. Students scoring 22-25 must pass an additional English Exam when they arrive in order to be eligible to TA.

Applicants must have a baccalaureate degree from an accredited institution with at least a 3.0 grade-point average (GPA) on graduation.

Fee
A graduate application fee of $105 (U.S. applicants) or $125 (international applicants) is required from all applicants. Applicants who choose to apply to more than one graduate program must pay an application fee for each program. The application fee is not refundable. Instructions for payment will appear when you submit your online application.
RL
Three academic or professional recommendations (in English) are required. Letters of recommendation are submitted electronically through the online application. Letter service letters are not accepted. There are no exceptions to the online submission rule.
Transcript
An official transcript is required from each college-level institution you attended including summer sessions, lower division, and graduate work. You will be instructed to upload scanned copies of your transcripts after you have submitted your online application.
