PS A short essay (no longer than 2 pages in length) that briefly and cogently describes your educational background, past research experience, anticipated research project and topic, and explains your reasons for pursuing a graduate degree in geography at the University of Cincinnati. Your statement of purpose should also name up to two potential mentors from the faculty members with whom you have already been in contact and/or with whom you share research interests. GPA Applicants must have a minimum grade-point average (GPA) of 3.00 or foreign equivalent. CV Curriculum Vitae (CV, resume) is required. Fee International students pay a $125 fee in Fall 2017 and Spring 2018, but there will be no international student fee charged in Summer 2018 RL 3 letters of recommendation. Recommenders are notified once the online application is submitted. Recommenders upload letters directly to the online application. Transcript Official transcripts of the student’s academic record of all undergraduate and graduate studies, which must be submitted both online and directly to the department, to the attention of the Geography Graduate Program Director.Unofficial transcripts are to be downloaded to the online application.
