Adequate command of spoken and written English is required for admission. Applicants whose first language is not English must submit an official test score from the Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL). Stanford accepts only ETS (Educational Testing Service) scores.Stanford University requires a score of 100 (Internet)/600 (paper) for the PhD program.
GRE
Applicants to the Biosciences are required to take the GRE General Test

Statement of Purpose (submitted electronically as a part of the graduate application). Please include a list of three Psychology Department faculty members, in order of preference, with whom you would like to work. We strongly recommend that your statement of purpose be around two pages in length.

Transcript
Unofficial transcripts from all universities and colleges you have attended for one year or more must be uploaded to the graduate application
