Indicate your academic and career goals, your interest in the John Glenn College of Public Affairs, and how your education and work experience qualify you for admission.
GPA
The In-Career MA program only requires the GRE if the student has below a 3.0 in prior education (this is only the case for the MA application).
CV
Be sure to include work experience, volunteer activities, academic and professional honors, honorary societies, extracurricular activities, offices held, any publications and other significant activities.
Fee
The application for admission and $60 application fee ($70 for international applicants)
RL
Three letters of recommendation are required and should reflect the academic and, if relevant, job capability and experiences of the applicant. The letters should speak to the applicant’s ability to excel in an academic professional program. Applicants are required to submit their letters of reference electronically using the online application (follow the link and scroll to “Public Policy and Management”).
Transcript
Submit transcripts from every university/college you have attended. Transcripts are required even if classes are transferred to another institution. Transcripts are not required for coursework completed at Ohio State.
Please upload a transcript with your online application as an attachment. Submit copies (front and back) of official transcripts from ALL institutions attended where college credit was earned – even if you attended while in high school or completed during a study abroad program. Please submit only scanned images of paper official transcripts issued by your institution’s Registrar. Ohio State will not accept web reports, advising reports, self-reported scores, or transfer credit on another school’s transcript.
Transcripts submitted with the application are considered unofficial and, if admitted, you will be required to submit an official set of transcripts with statement of degree (if appropriate) prior to enrolling at Ohio State.
