The GRE is required for Master’s applicants if students do not have a 2.9 GPA on a 4.0 scale. The GRE is required for all doctoral applicants. Graduate Record Exam (GRE) Scores demonstrating scores of 300 (verbal + quantitative).

CV
Resume/CV highlighting professional experience of a nature and extent appropriate to doctoral study in Counselor Education. Include information on counseling, teaching, research, writing, and participation in professional organizations.

First Ohio University Graduate Application for International - degree-seeking: $55 USD
RL
Three Letters of Recommendation written by current or former professors or supervisors, or others in the field who can address the applicant’s suitability for doctoral level work in Counselor Education and Supervision. Note that letters of recommendation are submitted online by the authors of the letters. If your references prefer to submit hard copies, please contact the Graduate College for submission procedures. Applicants may review the status of reference letters here. Program faculty may contact references for further information.
Transcript
You must submit one transcript from each post-secondary institution attended, regardless of whether or not a degree was earned or the credits are reflected on a separate transcript as transfer credit. If documents are not in English, also provide a certified English translation of each document. Translations certified by the degree granting university are considered official. Third party translations are not considered official. Failure to provide all academic documents will result in delays in processing your application materials. Please upload copies of academic transcripts (and diploma/degree certification, if applicable) with your application. If you have previously attended or are currently attending Ohio University, you must indicate this on your applciation. Your OHIO transcripts will be obtained by the Graduate College on your behalf.
