Minimum score of 90 on the internet-based TOEFL, 580 on the paper-based TOEFL or 237 on the computer-based TOEFL, or passing grade on the MSU English Language Test (MSUELT).
GRE
GRE scores. Test results should not be older than 5 years. Above the 50th percentile on the GRE verbal, quantitative, and analytical writing sections, or on the MCAT.

Preferred background for admission: A minimum GPA of 3.2 in a quantitatively oriented program.
Fee
Pay the $75 nonrefundable application fee (drawn on U.S. funds) using Visa, MasterCard, Discover, American Express or an electronic check.

Three letters of recommendation, one of which must be from an academic advisor from a previous program. The Department of Epidemiology and Biostatistics does not require any special forms or instructions for letters of recommendation.
