PS A statement of purpose (i.e., why you are interested in counseling psychology, Marquette University, and our department in particular; how your research experiences and career goals are congruent with the scientist-practitioner model of our department; a ranking of up to three department faculty with whom you wish to work on research, as well as the reasons why you wish to work with these faculty; and how your counseling goals and aspirations fit with the program’s training model and training sites). GPA Applicants must submit official transcripts that provide a cumulative grade point average (GPA) for all undergraduate and graduate work that is completed and/or in progress. Institutions that do not use a 4.0 scale should provide an average overall letter grade or percentage marks.The minimum acceptable undergraduate (or graduate, where applicable) GPA is 3.0 on a 4.0 scale. Exceptions may be made in some programs if other application credentials are very strong. CV Current resume or vita is required Fee The application fee is $50. There are only a few circumstances in which the application fee may be waived:Applicants who have previously attended Marquette University as a graduate student;Applicants who are currently undergraduate students at Marquette or have received a bachelor's degree from Marquette McNair Scholars;Applicants who have attended a Marquette University Open House or other Campus Visit event RL Three letters of recommendation from individuals who can address one's academic and professional potential. Each letter must be accompanied by a Letter Writer Form.  Transcript Official transcripts from all undergraduate and graduate institutions except Marquette—they must come directly from the institution to Marquette University.Applicants must list in the application and submit official transcripts from all colleges or universities attended, regardless of whether a degree was received or credits were transferred. Domestic transcripts should be sent to the Marquette University Graduate School directly from the issuing institution. If the institution distributes transcripts electronically, they may be sent to gradadmit@marquette.edu. Foreign transcripts that are issued in a language other than English must be accompanied by a certified English translation in addition to the official transcript. These documents should be sent via posted mail; scanned copies cannot be considered official.
