PS A personal statement from the applicant describing how their background prepares them for graduate study, and what are their research interests and career goals. GPA A grade point average of at least 3.0 on a 4 point scale using the U.S. system scale Fee A non-refundable fee of $50.00 (U.S.) and $70.00 (nonimmigrant) and can be paid in the form of a check, money order or credit card payable to Louisiana State University. RL Letters of recommendation from three faculty members or other individuals familiar with the applicant’s work Transcript Unofficial transcripts are acceptable for the initial review of your application, and you can usually download them directly from the universities you attended. If you are admitted, the Graduate School will require official transcripts if you did not submit them with your application. Official transcripts should be sent directly to Graduate Student Services, 114 West David Boyd Hall, Baton Rouge, LA 70803. If your university offers the option of emailing official transcripts, they can be sent to gradtranscripts@lsu.edu.
