Statement of Goals: In 750 to 1,000 words, state your professional plans and career objectives. Please include your personal qualities and development and how they have influenced your career choice; your reasons for this particular degree in relation to your academic background, professional work experience, and career goals; and your reason for selecting your program at George Mason University.
GPA
There is not a minimum GPA or GRE score required for admission. Applicants who have gained admission in the past had an average GPA of 3.0 and combined GRE scores of 1100.
Fee
The cost for a SOPHAS application is $135 for the first school or program to which you apply.
RL
Two letters of recommendation are required.
Transcript
Official transcripts from all academic institutions from which you earned credit. Submit all forms directly to SOPHAS. No supporting documents are accepted at Mason’s admissions office.
