PS A personal statement (two pages double spaced, 450-550 words) is required. The statement should include information on how the degree will enhance career plans and meet educational goals. Some questions to consider are (a) what do you expect to learn and achieve in your degree program? (b) what kind of professional position do you anticipate having five years after you earn this degree? (c) what experiences have you had that form the foundation for these career or educational goals? Sharing personal experiences, abilities, achievements, and goals is encouraged. GPA The minimum undergraduate GPA for admission consideration for graduate study at the University of Denver is a cumulative 2.5 on a 4.0 scale or a 2.5 on a 4.0 scale for the last 60 semester credits or 90 quarter credits (approximately two years of work) for the baccalaureate degree. An earned master’s degree or higher from a regionally accredited institution supersedes the minimum standards for the baccalaureate. For applicants with graduate coursework but who have not earned a master’s degree or higher, the GPA from the graduate work may be used to meet the requirement. The minimum GPA is a cumulative 3.0 on a 4.0 scale for all graduate coursework undertaken. CV Submit a résumé listing your current employers and professional experiences. RL Two confidential references are required. Reference requests are sent to your recommender via email once you complete that portion of the application.
