PS Personal Statement GPA GPA's are usually greater than 3.0. Fee Foreign applicants: Submission of the application processing fee is required. Neither the College of Information and Computer Sciences nor the Graduate Admissions Office has any authority to waive or defer this fee under any circumstance. RL 2 Letters of Recommendation (References can submit their letters through the online system, snail mail to the admissions office, or in .pdf form to gradadm@grad.umass.edu) Transcript Transcripts Ensure that all credentials, especially "older" transcripts, have your name in the same form as it appears on your application. If you are a foreign student, it helps to underline your family name for easy filing. If they are not mailed directly from the college/university, they should be enclosed in sealed envelopes signed by the college/university.  If the official transcripts and/or degree certificate(s) are not in English, notarized English language translations in duplicate must accompany them. Do not list colleges/universities where (eight) 8 or fewer credits were taken.
