The fee is $65 USD and may be paid either online using a credit card at the time of application submission or via a check or money order payable to "Carnegie Mellon Department of Chemical Engineering." Please note, your application will not be processed or reviewed until the application fee has been received. RL Three letters of recommendation must be submitted online. Note that we prefer to have at least two letters from faculty at your current academic institution, or most recent institution if you’ve already graduated. For applications to our research-based graduate degree programs, we also prefer that you include at least one letter from a faculty member, industrial researcher, or government lab researcher who has supervised you in a research setting. Transcript A legible, scanned or digitized copy of your transcripts and degree certificates (if applicable). If your transcript is in a language other than English, you must upload an English translation; do not upload the foreign language version. Official transcripts will be requested upon admission into the program.
