TOEFL
TOEFL (computer-based): A minimum score of 237 is required.

IELTS
The School of Music requires a composite band score of at least 7.0 and subscores of at least 6.5 in all four areas of Writing, Speaking, Listening, and Reading.
GRE
Most successful applicants have GRE Verbal and Quantitative scores that average above the median (50th percentile).

The Statement of Intent may address how the student became familiar with speech-language pathology, why they are interested in BYU's Masters of Communication Disorders program, research and career interests, and extenuating circumstances, i.e. a semester of poor grades.
GPA
The average GPA for admission is 3.8 and the GPA range of admitted applicants is at 3.6 to 4.0.
RL
Three letters of recommendation are required to be submitted with the graduate studies application . Letters from PhD faculty are preferred but not required.
