The letters should address the applicant's potential for completing a course of advanced studies leading to the doctorate degree. It would be helpful if the letters address the following topics: potential to complete the academic and research requirements for a doctoral degree ability to absorb complex knowledge and ideas, to integrate information across disciplines and to think creatively ability to communicate effectively in spoken and written form ability to work independently ability in research Transcript Official university transcripts of all previous academic work should be sent to this department.
