GRE
We can accept scores from either the old or the new GRE exam. Students applying to the MA Program only, with a GPA of 3.6 or higher do not need to submit GRE scores.

University at Buffalo, SUNY undergraduates with at least a 3.0 GPA are eligible for an MA application fee waiver
Fee
The application fee of $75 payable to SUNY at Buffalo.

Three letters of recommendation, submitted electronically. Once you submit your application for final review, your professors will receive an automated email requesting that they upload their recommendation letter. Please arrange for the letters to be received by December 22nd for the PhD program, or March 8th for the MA program.
Transcript
Electronic copies of transcripts of all previous undergraduate or graduate coursework. Only admitted applicants will be required to submit official transcripts.
