TOEFL
Successful international applicants must score at least 550 on the Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) paper version (pBT), 213 on the computer version (cBT), and 79 on the internet version (iBT). Additionally, successful applicants must score minimums of 16 on the listening, reading, speaking, and writing components of the iBT.
IELTS
We also accept a 6.5 on the International English Language Testing System (IELTS) exam.TOEFL or IELTS must be taken within 2 years of planned entry data.

Fee
$60 for international applicants,make check or money order (US dollars only) payable to The Graduate School of Auburn University. (Until fees are received, no application will be forwarded to the Department; therefore, no decisions will be made concerning admission and/or assistantships.)

Your references need to submit their letters of recommendation through the official Graduate School (Apply Yourself) website. While filling out your application, you will be asked to submit the names of at least three references. They will be contacted by the Graduate School. Letters and documents mailed/emailed to the department will no longer be accepted with the exception of the GTA application.
