The case-based instruction used in many MEM courses necessitates an excellent command of English. We require a TOEFL score for international applicants who have not had English as their primary language of instruction.

All applicants are required to upload a Statement of Purpose while completing the online application. Your Statement of Purpose should describe your purpose and objective for undertaking graduate study, any special research interests or qualifications you possess, as well as, why you chose to apply to Northwestern University.

Three letters of recommendation that attest to the candidate's work performance and management potential. At least two should be business related and one must be a current supervisor.
